Use your own account data. Some metrics need Insights access; ask the AI to mark missing data as unavailable rather than guessing.
What this does
Claude takes control of ur Chrome tab, opens ur Instagram, and runs a full pro audit on ur last 60 or 90 days of posts. It scores ur profile + bio, audits every post, classifies ur hooks, tears down a competitor, flags ur strategy tension, plans 5 weeks of content for u, and exports the whole thing as a single editorial HTML dashboard.
Use the results to spot patterns and decide what to try next.
Setup, Claude + browser access (one-time, ~5 mins)
1. Get the Claude in Chrome extension
- Open Chrome
- Go to claude.ai/chrome and install the extension
- Pin it to ur toolbar so the side panel is always one click away
2. Sign in to Claude
- Click the extension icon, sign in with ur Claude account
- u'll need Claude Pro or higher for browser control. The free tier won't take control of tabs
3. Connect the browser to ur Instagram
- Open a new tab, go to instagram.com, log in like normal
- Stay logged in. Claude will use this same session, no separate login
4. Open the Claude side panel
- Click the extension icon to open the side panel
- u should see a chat box on the right and ur Instagram tab on the left
5. Give Claude permission to control the tab
- First time u ask Claude to do something, it'll ask u to approve browser access for that domain
- Approve for instagram.com (and the competitor's profile URL too)
That's it. One-time setup. Every audit after this is just paste-and-run.
The prompt
Fill in the [bracketed bits] with ur own info, then paste into the Claude side panel.

knowledge of the 2026 algorithm, hook psychology, save/share mechanics,
and creator monetisation. You understand what stops the scroll, what
drives genuine engagement vs keyword-trigger comments, and what
converts followers into buyers.
Use Claude in Chrome to run a full professional growth + content audit
on @[YOUR HANDLE]. Analyse every post from the last [60 / 90] days —
do not skip any. I'm at [X] followers and want to hit [TARGET] by [DATE].
My lead magnet: [DESCRIBE]. ManyChat status: [set up / not set up yet].
Output everything as a single self-contained HTML dashboard saved to my
outputs folder. Editorial aesthetic, clean palette, real charts and
tables — not a doc with bullet points. Push back if anything is
unrealistic. I want the truth, not a yes.

1. ACCOUNT SNAPSHOT
Follower count, total posts analysed, date range, avg likes / comments /
shares / saves, posting frequency per week, follower delta in the window.
2. PROFILE & BIO AUDIT
- Does my profile photo match my niche and give a strong first impression?
- Is my bio searchable with the keywords my audience would type?
- Does it speak to who they are and why they should follow?
- Is there a clear CTA leading to my link in bio?
Score each: Working / Needs work / Broken — with the exact fix.
3. FULL POST INVENTORY
Every post most-recent-to-oldest: date, format (Reel/Carousel/Single),
topic, likes, comments, shares, saves, hook type, CTA used.
4. CONTENT MIX & FORMAT BREAKDOWN
Reels vs Carousels vs Static — share of feed + avg engagement per format.
Content pillars breakdown: % of posts per pillar. Flag if I'm drifting
into fake/lifestyle territory or off-niche.
5. POSTING CONSISTENCY & TIMING
Frequency, days between posts, gaps, best/worst time slots if visible.
Is consistency strong or irregular?
6. HOOK ANALYSIS
For every post with a visible hook (cover, first frame, caption opener):
rate quality, classify type (curiosity, pain, transformation, bold claim,
list, question, relatability, contrarian, come-with-me). Identify which
hook styles win based on engagement.
7. TOP PERFORMERS — WHAT'S WORKING
Top 5–8 posts. For each, explain specifically WHY it worked: hook,
format, topic, emotion, shareability.
8. UNDERPERFORMERS — WHAT'S NOT
Bottom 5–8 posts. Be direct. Look for patterns.
9. REPETITION AUDIT
Flag repeated CTAs, topics, formats, phrases. Note fatigue risk for each.
10. CTA & MONETISATION AUDIT
Every CTA used + how many times. Am I over-promoting, under-promoting,
or using too few variations? Is the lead magnet flow visible in the feed?
11. CONTENT GAPS — WHAT'S MISSING
Tailored gaps based on what the data shows the audience responds to.
Specific, not generic.
12. AUDIENCE & ENGAGEMENT QUALITY
Are comments real conversations or keyword triggers? Am I attracting new
audiences or just activating warm followers?
13. COMPETITOR TEARDOWN — @[COMPETITOR HANDLE]
- Their top content and why it works
- Hook patterns, formats, cadence, topics they own
- Engagement gap vs me — what specifically I need to change to close it
- 5–7 of their best angles I can repurpose, with how to make each mine
14. OVERALL STRATEGY TENSION
The core structural problem holding the account back. The growth ceiling
under the current strategy and how to break it. The single most important
thing I should change right now.
15. STRATEGY TO HIT MY TARGET
- Honest call: is the target realistic at current pace? If not, what changes?
- Weekly content mix (Attract / Activate / Ascend, reels vs carousels)
- 3–5 angles to double down on + 2–3 swing ideas with viral upside
- Weekly follower milestones with content focus per week
16. PRIORITISED ACTION PLAN
- This week
- Next 2–4 weeks
- Next 30–60 days
Specific and tailored to what the audit found. No generic advice.
17. PREDICTIONS
Conservative, realistic, aggressive scenarios for where I'll land by the
deadline, with reasoning.

Quick tips
- Run it on a quiet morning. Claude takes a while to crawl 60–90 days of posts, and u want to actually read the output
- Pick a competitor who's 2–5x ur size, not 100x. The teardown gives better angles when the gap is closeable
- The "Push back if anything is unrealistic. I want the truth, not a yes." line is the most important line in the prompt. don't delete it
- Don't skip the lead magnet + ManyChat fields. those two answers reshape the whole strategy section
- Re-run it monthly. Strategy decays fast on IG
