The 5 MCP Servers I Use For Content & Research

The 5 MCP servers I run inside Claude to do most of my content work & research.

New to this? MCP servers are little plug-ins that give Claude "hands" so it can actually do things, not just chat. You add them once inside Claude, then Claude can use them in any conversation.

How to add them (do this once)

• Claude Desktop app: go to Settings → Connectors → Add, then connect each tool below.
• Claude Code: add each one with the /mcp command (or in your config file).
• Most connect by signing in or pasting an API key from the tool's own site.

(Claude updates this menu often, so a label might move. If a link changes, just search the tool name + "MCP".)

My 5

1. 🔥 Firecrawl — research without 20 tabs

Pulls the content off any website straight into Claude. Great for research, summarising articles, and pulling reference material.

2. 🔍 Apify — study what's working

Scrapes real data from social platforms. I use it to pull a creator's top reels and see what's actually performing before I plan content.

3. 📝 Notion — zero copy-paste

Lets Claude write straight into my Notion. My scripts and captions drop right into my content planner.

• Connect via Notion's official connector inside Claude (sign in with your Notion account).
• Free.

4. 🎨 Higgsfield — images + video inside the chat

Generate images and video without leaving Claude. This is also where I train my face with Soul ID and stopped Ai from changing my face. Watch my video about Soul Ai here.

5. 🌐 Chrome — Claude sees your browser

Lets Claude see and click around whatever I have open in Chrome. Handy for checking pages and doing things on screen with me.

• Free.

My honest take

Some are free, some are paid. You don't need all 5 on day one. Start with Firecrawl + Notion (both free) to feel the difference, then add the rest as you go. 💛
